Three weeks ago, 500 lucky University of Georgia students and Athens residents were given the exclusive opportunity to see Kenny Chesney perform live at the legendary Georgia Theatre. Now the rest of Chesney's fans can experience the No Shoes Nation party first-hand when CMT INSTANT JAM: KENNY CHESNEY airs Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT. Launching CMT's all-new pop-up concert series, the one-hour premiere features live performances from Chesney, along with a behind-the-scenes look at all the excitement leading up to his show. Viewers can get a sneak peek of Chesney's "American Kids" performance exclusively on the CMT Artists App beginning tomorrow morning at 11:30 a.m. ET, and catch the video during CMT and CMT Pure music hours beginning Monday, September 22.

"On the rare occasion that big artists play small rooms, most fans can only dream of being a part of the experience," said John Hamlin, SVP Music Events and Talent, CMT. "Instant Jam gives everyone a chance to attend an extremely exclusive show. Kenny Chesney is the master of surprise concerts in small clubs, so I can't think of a better artist for our first episode."

The 4-time Country Music Association and 4-consecutive Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year brings some of his best known hits and brand new music to CMT INSTANT JAM. Performing in front of a high-energy crowd, Chesney's set list features "Beer In Mexico," "I Go Back," "Don't Happen Twice," "Out Last Night" and "Boys of Fall," in addition to "Til It's Gone" and "American Kids" from his September 23 release, The Big Revival. CMT INSTANT JAM documents the top-secret show from start to finish - beginning in the morning when posters and fliers announcing the concert were distributed in downtown Athens; continuing on to capture hundreds of enthusiastic fans as they flocked to the campus' Phi Mu sorority house to snag a wristband, which were gone in less than eight minutes; and concluding with the final notes that played inside the Georgia Theatre.

"That crowd was so on fire," Chesney said of the capacity-plus crowd. "To be in such a live room, with that kind of energy, it makes you want to play all night long. I'm so glad CMT was there to capture that moment. Getting to play clubs that size? It's a whole other thing, and I always love it."
